Guide: Ticket panel
Create a support panel so members open private ticket channels with one click.
Time: about 15 minutes
Requires: Manage Server, ticket-capable staff roles
What you will build#
A message in #support with a button that opens a ticket channel for the member and your staff team.
Step 1 — Prepare Discord#
- Create categories: Tickets (private) and optionally Archive.
- Create staff roles (for example
@Support) with view access to ticket channels. - Place AIO’s role above
@Supportand above any roles it must ping.
Step 3 — Create a panel#
- In the same tab, add a panel (on Free, you get one active panel).
- Name it (for example “General support”).
- Choose the panel channel
#support. - Customize the panel message and button label.
- Save and let AIO post or sync the panel message.
Step 5 — Close and transcripts#
When staff close a ticket:
- The channel locks and schedules cleanup.
- A plain-text transcript is available on Free; Pro adds HTML transcripts.
- Optional feedback prompts can ask for a 1–5 rating.
